Your mission

Reporting to the Accounting & Reporting team, your mission is structured around three major pillars:

• Ensure accurate accounting:  you record, monitor, and reconcile financial transactions within your scope of responsibility You actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as the validation of financial statements (according to BE GAAP and IFRS standards). 

• Improve processes: you analyze the efficiency of our financial flows and design simpler, automated internal processes.

• Be a financial partner: you support operational teams (stores, e-commerce, logistics) to help them understand their costs and financial indicators. You identify and mitigate financial risks. 

You are organized and manage your priorities to meet important deadlines. 

With a strong team spirit, you collaborate and communicate easily with everyone. You enjoy continuous learning to stay up-to-date in accounting and on new tools.  

Proactive with critical thinking, you know how to challenge the “status quo”. 

You are passionate about sports.

Moreover, 

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and have at least 5 years in a similar position. 

• You are autonomous in handling complex reconciliations (intercompany, fixed assets) and know how to explain financial figures to non-financial managers.

• You have solid accounting knowledge, proficiency in data manipulation (Excel / Google Sheets), and a keen interest in tech tools (ERP, Generative AI).

• You speak Dutch and have a good command of French and English.
