Mission
As a Senior Payroll Officer at Decathlon, you manage the complete payroll cycle (from A to Z), you ensure compliance with social legislation, oversee processes, follow and share your expertise with colleagues, and act as the expert point of contact for employees and external partners, optimizing systems and guaranteeing data accuracy while managing social benefits and complex files such as international mobility by example.
You join a team of experts to guarantee the reliability and simplicity of administrative staff management. You are the preferred point of contact for all payroll questions.
Here are the main tasks you will carry out:
- Legal Compliance: Monitoring and application of collective labor agreements (CCT) and social laws, management of contracts and amendments.
- Personnel Administration: Monitoring absences, holidays, sick leave, and updating HR data.
- Support and Expertise: Answering complex questions from employees and HR regarding payroll, benefits (insurance, etc.).
- Optimization and Projects: Identifying improvements, participating in the implementation of new procedures and systems (HRIS).
- Collaboration: Working with Finance, HR, the social secretariat, and external providers to guarantee data accuracy.
- Training: Coaching and training junior colleagues to help them gain autonomy and expertise.
- Management of Specific Files: Handling international mobility files, salary management for our store in Luxembourg, complex contractual situations, Flex incomes Plan (“Caf Plan”).
Profil

- You have a good knowledge of social legislation and payroll. Having already an experience with international mobility files is a plus.
- You are proficient in the Google Suite and comfortable with data tables for analyses.
We are also looking for a profile that :
- Has a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in payroll.
- Is capable of managing complex situations and working in an evolving environment.
- Is fluent in French and Dutch and you are able to express yourself in English.

You join the Payroll team at the Decathlon Belgium headquarters for a full-time position.
- You join a team of 3000 colleagues in a very dynamic and sporty environment in which moments of sharing as a team are really important.
- You have access to a whole training library related to your role.
- You manage your activity in autonomy and with responsibility to meet deadlines and service commitments.
- You work on a basis of standard office hours with the possibility of teleworking maximum 2 days a week.
- You show flexibility during closing periods (at the end of the month, for example).
